Decorative painter creating designs and finishes for bespoke interiors and hand painted furniture.

Following a degree in printed textile design at Chelsea school of art, I trained as a Decorative artist combining my love of pattern and painting with Interior design. With over 20 years’ experience, I work with Interior designers and private clients alike, for both commercial and domestic projects.

My love of florals came from an early commission which lead me to the Chinoiserie wallpaper archives at the V&A. Here I researched the beautiful papers imported from China in the 18th century, studying everything from the brush techniques to the palettes used before embarking upon the first of many Chinoiserie wall designs.

Based in my studio just outside Lewes in East Sussex, I paint largely to commission, creating designs and finishes for bespoke interiors and hand painted furniture.
